A Day for Mothers

I do hope those who celebrate it had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday. The weather here in the South of England was beautiful, so we had a lovely family meal by the sea. We also took our new pup who was so well behaved!

Anyway I finally got round to making a card for my own Mum which I can now share with you.

Being short of time I turned to my Tilda papercraft stash. It is so pretty I tend to look at rather than use it!! I used a base card and various decoupaged diecuts. The sentiment was made using individual letter stickers. I'm glad to say that Mum was very pleased with it!

I am also going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Spring is here!

What beautiful weather we had at the weekend here in the South. The sunshine inspired me to create this card for the Handmade Harbour Challenge (on which I am a Design Team member). The theme for the fortnight is Spring -  flowers, birds or rabbits.

I used the paper piecing technique with the digital stamp Flowers on the Hill.

I have to say I am quite pleased with the result!

I do hope you will come along and join us at the challenge!

Other challenges I am entering:
The Crafters Cafe - A Square Card

Celebrate at The Handmade Harbour

Welcome back to another challenge at The Handmade Harbour. This week the theme is "Celebrate"

I very rarely use such bright colours but I think it fits this digital stamp really well.

I chose Birds and Gift Digital Stamp to create my DT piece. I coloured the images with Promarkers. I then cut the images and mounted them separately onto the card, using foam pads to give dimension to some of the squares.

I do hope you will come and join us for this challenge!

I am entering this into the following challenges:
Crafting By Design - Anything Goes
Through The Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Paper Make Up Stamps - Anything Goes
