I made this tag for the challenge at Kard Krazy which is a tag with a postcard theme. I used the new Creative Expressions french set postcard for the base and then over stamped with a Crafty Individual image of the the girl and a postcard text stamp. I added the flowers and glazed them with Glossy Accents Crackle Glaze. As a final touch I added the flower and lace.

Steampunk ATCs
The last couple of weeks have been a bit of a nightmare with both my son and I a bit under the weather so I've got a bit behind on the blogging and crafting - so apologies to all my followers!
So today is a day of catch up, firstly here are my three ATCs for the Stampman Swap, which this month is Steampunk. Its something I hadn't tried before, so I raided my Dad's old meccano box for cogs and metal.
One is stamped with a Crafty Individuals stamp, Craft Stamper clock image and cogs added. The second one I used the petroleum jelly technique on. I stamped the image first, rubbed on the jelly and then painted over with gold acrylic paint. I then rubbed of the jelly to reveal the under layer. By the third ATC I was struggling a bit for ideas but I think its ok.

This is my first ever altered matchbox I've made for February's Craft Stamper magazine challenge.
I painted the box with gold paint, stamped the torn paper with Crafty Individuals text stamp. The embellishments were stamped and made from shrink plastic. The tags were stamped with various images and a mica tag included. I used alcohol tags on a mica sheet and cut out.

What's been happening this week?
Just one more day to go before I draw the blog candy, don't forget to enter if you haven't already. I've been really busy this week altering a matchbox and making romantic cards for challenges. I hope to have pictures of these very soon.
I bought .........the fantastic book Teach Yourself Visually Collage and Altered Arts by Roni Johnson which is an amazing book. She is also running a charm swap at the moment.
I found......a great website for vintage images at FromThe CraftRoom.com
Anyway I'm off to finish a corsage as instructed in Crafts Beautiful this month.
Good luck with the Candy draw!
Over at Jen's Inspirations she is also giving away some great Candy to celebrate her 50th birthday, and her blog has some great fabric inspirations.

Going Au Naturelle!
I posted a few weeks ago about a lovely shop in our town which has just opened - The French Knot Studio, the store to complement Simply Sequins. Its a great website too, which has some really useful links for fabric craft. I was lucky enough to have some of my textile cards accepted for sale and thought you might like to see my new fabric cards.
