Crafting with Craft Artist

I was thrilled to receive the new kits from Craft Artist - hand drawn artwork by the very talented Suzanne Washington . They are being launched today on Create and Craft so I thought I would share some of the samples I created for the shows.

Let the holidays begin

At last we have come to the end of term in our house and have 8 weeks of holidays to enjoy (endure!) I have been really busy making thank you cards for teachers - with about 12 made this week and more to do!!

The other reason for my absence is the work I have been doing for Serif Craft Artist Design Team. If you saw Create and Craft yesterday, you would have seen we were lucky enough to work with the delightful artwork from Claire Tarling.

Here are some of the samples I created

There is also another stunning collection coming up this Wednesday - here is a sneaky peek!

I am entering the following challenges:

Digitially Sweet - Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments Challenge - Animal and Sentiment
Digi Choosday - Christmas in July

Christmas in June!

Apologies for talking about Christmas soo early, but many of you as crafters and artists will already be thinking about making for Christmas 2015.

Today Serif Craft Artist launch their new kits on Create and Craft. There are some beautiful kits from Kimeric Kreations, Victoria Nelson Illustration and Laura Darrington Design Limited.

As part of the Design Team for Serif I had the pleasure of creating the samples, although I have to admit it was difficult to get into Christmas mode when the sun was beating down!

Bon Voyage With Kimme Kreations

As part of the Serif / Craft Artist Design Team I have been lucky enough to have recently worked with the fabulous kits from Kimeric Kreations. If you tune into  Create and Craft TV today you will see the new kits being showcased.

I particularly loved the Bon Voyage Kit which perfectly matched my DisneyLand Paris Photos I am slowly scrapping!

I hope you like the layout and it may even spur me on to get my year old photos scrapped!!

My favourite 5 of 2014

I hope you all enjoyed a lovely relaxing and peaceful Christmas. I can't believe we are nearly into a New Year. With that thought in mind I decided to join Debby at A Scrapjourney and share my favourite makes of 2015.

So in no particular order

A popular little card in my shop and craft fairs this year. I was lucky enough to purchase a Cricut Explore this year which revolutionised my crafting.

One of my favourite times of the year and a return to traditional creative stamping. I intend to do more in 2015!

I was lucky enough to join the Serif CraftArtist Design Team this year and this card made it on to Create and Craft television.

I love Autumn and the colours it brings. This was a winner of a blog challenge too!

And finally.....

Another return to creative techniques using gilding flakes.

I hope you like my choices and maybe you will join in with the posting too!

Wishing you a Happy 2015!

Pretty Posies

As part of the Serif CraftArtist Design Team I have the privilege of working with some of the beautiful kits. This collection from Victoria nelson is no exception and appeared on Create and Craft TV yesterday morning.

They are Bird Garden, Butterfly meadow and Pretty Posies.

The CD Collection can be purchased at Create and Craft or the individual collections at Daisytrail

Fun at the Fair

I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday, although here in the South it has been a very wet one. The weather has been a great excuse to stay in and catch the Serif CraftArtist shows on Create and Craft. Today Michelle has been showcasing the Sahlin Studio Kits which have a distinctively vintage feel.

Vintage Carnival Kit

As a member of the Design Team I had great fun using these kits to create cards and scrapbook pages.

Grandma's Dresser Kit

Retro Mod Kit

The Retro Mod kit has the most amazing embroidered flowers, but if you look closely at my card, can you spot the real embroidery?!

Keep Crafting!!

Digital Grunge

As a member of the Serif Craft Artist team I was lucky enough to be asked to make some samples using the new Graphic Authority Digi Kits. This week these are the 4 Day Deal on Create and Craft, so its been super exciting to see mine and the other team members work on screen.

The kits give you hundreds of frames, distressed backgrounds and digi brushes to work with. So I thought I would share some of my samples with you.....

Its amazing the effects you can get!

What can you find here?
