Anything Goes With A Die

We've reached the final month of 2016 at Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With a Die Challenge. Of course I had to make a Christmas card as its nearly the last chance before I pack away the Christmas crafting stash.

I used a Die-namites die for the wreath adding gems and gingham ribbon. With all the festive preparations to get on with it had to be something quick and simple!

I hope you will join us for this end of year challenge and may I take this chance to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Challenges I am entering with my card:
Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes
Crafting By Designs - Holiday Challenge
Crafty Hazlenuts Christmas Extra - Anything Christmas

A Little Bit of Spring

The English weather is a law unto itself! On Friday here in the South it was so cloudy we missed the eclipse. This morning when I finished this card we had bright warm sunshine. Now at 4pm we have black skies with the threat of rain! I hope the weather is good wherever you are and this spring themed card will cheer you up if its not!

To create this card I used the latest set of stamps free with Creative Stamping Magazine. First I stamped the wreath and coloured it with Aquamarkers and coloured pencils. Before cutting out the shape I stamped the sentiment in the middle. I then stamped other elements and decoupaged them onto the wreath. The card base was created by appling Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage Distress inks through a mask.

I love to read your comments on my work and will always try to visit your pages too!

Preparing for Christmas Fayres

Things at Sparkly Fairy towers at the moment are extremely busy. I am getting lots of cards ready to sell during the run up to Christmas. It is always amazing too what you can find in your stash! Here is the use of a die I bought last year in a sale and haven't used until now.

I love the simplicity of this die, yet it makes such a beautiful card.  I'm hoping it might be a best seller!

I am entering the following challenges with this card

As You Like It Challenge - Your favourite Christmas style  - this is my favourite kind of style for Christmas Cards - crisp, clean and simple.

Christmas cards all year round - No patterned paper

Making Christmas Cards

It's been an emotional week with my little one starting a new school and a tiring one being woken up by the alarm for the school run!

So what better way to cheer myself up then to get down to making some Christmas cards.

One of my most favourite tools is my Cricut Explore which I used to cut the shapes for this card. The text was created using the Lyrical Letters Font and then I added the ribbon as a final touch. I'm hoping these will go down well at the Christmas Craft Fairs!

Challenges I am entering :

Crafty Bloggers Network - Anything Goes
Creative Cutting Challenge - Anything Goes
Cards Galore Encore - Make A Card

A little Deer

So we bought our Christmas trees home today and our outside lights will be switched on tomorrow! Christmas is definetly on its way!

So I thought I'd share a really sweet Christmas card with you. One of my favourite stamp companies is Little Claire. This little deer was new this year so I had to buy it!

I stamped the image and coloured it with Promarkers. The wreath I made using a Marianne Designs die and red gems for the berries. I added a ribbon and a greeting to finish. I don't think I can bear to part with this one!!

Challenges I am entering:

4 Crafty Chicks - Christmas
Crafting By Design - Christmas / Winter
