A Beautiful Day

We have a beautiful sunny day here today in the South of England as these pictures show from my garden.

Its far too nice to be inside so I created a CAS card which didn't take too long

I painted a small square patch of the card using acrylic paint before using Indigo Blu, Sheena Douglass Stamps and Creative Expressions dotty pattern over the top.

I hope you are enjoying your day and doing what makes you happy!

Challenges I am entering:
LadyBug Crafts - Anything Goes
My Craft Creations - Anything Goes
Allsorts - Quick and Easy

Service resumed!

I must apologise, I can't believe its such a long time since I posted!  I am so busy with projects at the moment my poor blog gets neglected!

One of projects I have been working on are cards for Serif CraftArtist, using their new Digital Quilling Kits.  I have never got the hang of quilling and have bad memories of sticky fingers and paper strips!! So these are a real asset!

This is a scrapbook page I created using the DigiQuill Kits and photographs from my garden last summer.

And here are some other examples:

I will be back later this week with some spring projects to share.

In a Garden

My poor blog has been a bit neglected recently what with all this lovely weather I seemed to have spent more time in the garden. Which is my theme for today's post!

This is a Twinchie I have created for the Show Me Your Twinchie Challenge - where they would like to see "In an English Country Garden". I used Cut N Dry to apply Distress Inks to watercolour card and then applied various black peel offs on the top to create a scene.

And whilst on the subject of gardens I thought I would share this gorgeous photo of  our garden visitor. He appears to enjoy the sunshine and has been out tucking into cat food!
