With such a gorgeous stamp set from Papercraft Inspirations Magazine this month I decided to make a wedding card.
I used a die cut card as the base. Then stamped the bunting, birds and greeting before colouring them in with Promarkers. I found a perfect sentiment stamp in my stash and that was it finished! I love this card and have already sold a few!!

For my DT piece I created this......
I used the Cracked Glass technique. I stamped and coloured the butterfly - a favourite of mine by Anna Griffin - with Distress Pens Then I covered the mountboard with Perfect Medium before applying WOW! Embossing Ultra High Clear Powder. I repeated this three times to get a thick coverage. Then I let it cool before bending the whole piece to give a cracked look. Finally I applied a dark brown ink with Cut N Dry Foam to highlight the cracks.
The papers I selected are the new ones from Docrafts - Madame Payraud which is a great curiosity style collection. I aged the papers further with Distress Inks before cutting them into squares and mounting them onto brown card.

Handmade Harbour - I'm on the DT!
I have been a fan for some time of the fabulous digital stamps from Wendy at Handmade Harbour. So I was over the moon to be accepted on her Design Team.
My first challenge with the team is to add ribbons.
I chose the Campervan Stamp and coloured in with Promarkers. I added I Love You to the number plates and then added ribbon to the bunting.
I can't wait to take part in more challenges with Handmade Harbour and I hope you will join me there!

Crafting A Scene
Happy Monday everyone! Once again over at Craft A Scene, they are sharing one of my projects I made for my Guest DT spot.
I made the background by swooshing card through Distress Inks diluted on a splodge mat. I then used a stamp from Kanban that I have never used! I used Perfect medium and embossed it with WOW Embossing Powder - Ebony. I added Perfect Pearls to the toadstools and using a Marianne Creatables stamp I stamped the dots and embossed with WOW! White embossing powder.
Why not enter this month's challenge with one of your favourite techniques?

Love is in the air
The most romantic day of the year? Not here in the South it is wet, windy and storm force gales predicted! So I will be enjoying a much needed day of crafting.
As it is Valentine's Day I thought I would share a card I made for my ETSY store using a bargain stamp I purchased in the sale after Christmas.
I stamped the image onto watercolour paper before colouring it with Distress Markers. The sentiment reads "Life is a breeze when love is in the Air"
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Crafters Cafe Challenge - Hearts
Make My Monday - Love
Rhedd and Rosie Challenge - love is in the air

Crafting A Scene
I was asked this month to be a Guest Designer at Craft A Scene. This month they are asking for a favourite technique when creating a scene.
One of my favourite techniques is to create a background using distress ink and silhouette stamping. Above is the first card I created using Distress Inks and Stamps by Creative Expressions.
I hope you will go over and join in with the challenge this month.

Working with Vellum
I hope you are all surviving the wet and windy weather here in the UK. Living on the South Coast is very windy at the moment!
I am sharing a card with you which I have made for Moving With The Times challenge blog. Hazel was kind enough to ask me to join the group. So do pop along an join in with the challenge which this week is to use vellum or parchment.

I was inspired by an article in Craft Stamper to make this card. I stamped onto the parchment and then embossed on the wrong side with a ball tool. Once this was done I blended Antique Linen Distress Ink over the back. The paper is from a beautiful freebie with Simply Cards and Papercraft Magazine this month. I used some dyed seam binding and pleated it to decorate.
