Creative Expressions DT Call

Despite being away for two weeks and still amid the school holidays I was determined to get my entry into the Creative Expressions DT Call. I love their products and have been lucky enough to win their monthly competition a couple of times and it would be amazing to be part of their team.

The brief for the DT entry was Texture. So for my card I used a Tim Holtz Embossing Folder to create the brick background on black paper and highlighted it with silver ink before stamping the window from the Creative Expressions Lost Garden Stamp set and embossing in silver powder. I cut out the window to reveal the stamped scene behind, which I had highlighted with Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Powders. For added texture I used Cosmic Shimmer Arctic Black Embossing Powder with added Mica Fragments around the window.

And now its back to crafting for Christmas!!

The Magic of Monochrome Pearl Embossing Powders

Firstly I must apologise for the lack of posting. With school holidays and taking a vacation to the beautiful Devon countryside time has been in short supply!

Now back to business! The challenge this month for the WOW! Embossing Powder DT was to create a project using the magical pearl powders.
