Been a bit poorly

Unfortunately I spent the whole of last weekend in hospital with a kidney infection so haven't managed to get any crafting done at all. Im slowly getting back on my feet and hope to share some new ideas soon. Ive had plenty of time in bed to think of some!

I recently swapped this on the Docrafts website. The theme was dream. Ive just managed to find some acetate that works in my printer so Im having great fun using my Joanna Sheen and My Craft Studio Cds to print on.

Free Vintage Images

Altered CD

This is one of the new projects I have been working on. It is an altered CD wall hanging.

First of all I covered the CD with gold card which I then stippled with gold and green acrylic paint and rubbed on gold ink. I then embellished with butterflys, some victorian decoupage pansy images. The flowers and button centres were aged with ink and adhered using silicon glue. The handle is made of wire and beads. The hanging element is made from various fibres and butterfly beads.

I am working very hard on some exciting new projects - images will be coming soon! I have such a large stash of craft materials and have decided its time to experiment with some new techniques. Craft Stamper has been a great source of inspiration as I keep every back copy!
